Launch of 'Al Fanar' - 'The Lighthouse'

The new journal for Higher Education in the Arab world, Al Fanar ('The Lighthouse'), was launched.

It is a major new initiative of the Alexandria Trust, of which Charles Clarke is a Trustee. Its ambition is to raise higher education standards in the Arab world. The on-line publication will be similar to the Times Higher Education in the UK and the Chronicle of Higher Education in the US.
